Thanks to our Founding Funders' generous donations, we have started our second round of School Life News (SLN) pilot programming with a 12-week journalism course in two middle school classrooms in Hudson, NY.

We now need your help in funding round three: The SLN Curriculum Project.

We have a great start on the curriculum, including lesson plans for the Hudson pilot program. But to get a world-class course of study, dedicated to improving student literacy, we need to expand our curricular options – in subject matter and grade levels – so that we emerge from our 12-week program ready and able to grow. 

Will you help us raise $5,000 by the end of March for our Curriculum Project? This will enlist more curricular consultants and writers and create age-appropriate lesson plans for more needy students.
